Hi all, Well mine is a bit of a strange story and I don't know how common my situation is. 10 years ago I had a Gastric bypass on the NHS and it worked great, I lost close on 75kg. However, during lock down, like so many others out of boredom I drank lots of alcahol and started getting back in bad eating habits and put on over 30kg. I tried getting this looked into by the NHS but my GP just seemed not to care. I called around for quotes in the UK and the cheapest I was offered was £13,000 which I just could not afford so decides to look into what is awailable in other countries. Turkey came up as my best option and managed to finde The Healwide click where Ömer did a great job in offering me a fantastic offer for a gastric bypass revision at an affordable price. I flew to Turkey to the Medical Park Hospital and on the 8th of May and after many and very thorough check ups I had my operation. Everything went really well, the Surgeons and all the other staff were very caring. I very much doubt you would get much better treatment anywhere else. I have now lost over 8kg in just over a week and just know this is going to be a great success.

Nice staff smooth arrival. Luxery taxi from airport to the hospital. Blood tests at the same day/night. Very comfortable suite room. Careful and nice nurses. The surgery next day. Ghe surgery went smooth. The doctors are professional and take good care of their patient. They pay attention to the details of your sympyoms an past history. The surgery went smooth without any complications. The surgeon is always available to answer all your questions. The translator is a very nice warm hearted young lady. Her name is Almira. Soecial thank to her and to yhe sweet nurses. She is available anytime and always available at the phone. She cares alot about the patients. Third day of surgery, the same luxery taxi takes you to the airport. You get all the medicines you need for 1 to 3 months with you from the hodpital before leaving. I decided to have a gastric sleeve after many failed attempts at other weight loss programs. Although I had reservations about coming abroad for treatment in case anything went wrong I can honestly say I have had nothing to worry about. For the amount I paid for the package, back home in the UK would have gotten me nothing compared to all the tests and scans they took here. They have checked every inch of me before proceeding! My experience with Dr. Ahmet and my gastric sleeve surgery has been excellent. He is very easygoing, knowledgeable and understanding, and experienced in his field. Always open to hearing concerns and well being of patients. I would recommend Dr. Ahmet to anyone wanting bariatric surgery. I am almost 5 months out and have I lost around 70 lbs, and my blood pressure is regular. I am so happy about the results. Also, I liked everything about all the services that Clinic Center has provided to me from the beginning till the end of my medical journey.

Vanity is an amazing hospital. It is very clean, the staff are friendly and respond to text messages within minutes. (KEREM and BERK were my patient coordinators). Arrival on 23.12 and departure on 27.12 - I have rarely seen anything so professional from the clinic. The doctors and nurses are a dream and go out of their way to explain everything to the patient. In addition to the gastric sleeve surgery, the gall bladder was also removed directly because gallstones were detected during the ultrasound. Super consultation with all the options available. I have never had such a check-up in Germany and I am glad that I chose a clinic in Turkey. Not to forget the around-the-clock support by Fatma - who is always available before and after via Whatsapp.

Since getting home they've checked on me every single day, reassured me, and supported me. It is an emotional roller coaster having all these things done and they really do make you feel at ease. My surgeon Dr Yusuf was an absolute magician, such a lovely gentleman who genuinely cares for his patients. He checked on me every single day in hospital before and after his surgeries. I cannot recommend AYT Clinic highly enough. One particular person Asli was there for me, from booking the Gastrectomy until after the operation and still giving ongoing support post-op. From the moment I stepped off the plane, the service was first class. Collected at arrivals and driven to the Hospital collecting Asli on the way. Registration at the hospital was easy and completed in five minutes by Asli. Numerous tests were carried out pre-op and were all done swiftly, with no hanging around waiting. The hospital itself was spotless, the nurses and surgeons were a different class! I can only say a huge thank you, the amazing work they have done has given me a new beginning.

Antalya is safe, the clinic is highly equipped and clean. Medhera and her team are very professional and friendly. All the staff were very professional and helpful at every moment. They had time for all kinds of questions and needs. All the patients who were there when I was in surgery were coming from all over the USA. My sleeve gastrectomy was performed successfully. I was a very unhealthy, unhappy man weighing 149.23 kg. At 46 years old I had my first heart attack. At 48 years old I was diagnosed with angina. My weight was killing me. In September 2022 the NHS turned me down for Surgery for the 4th time. I knew someone local who had been to Turkey and lost a huge amount of weight so I went to see him and I got the contact details. I sent a message via instagram to Dr Metin Karadeniz and Sezen, his co-ordinator got straight back to me via WhatsApp. She answered all my questions without hesitation, checking details with doctors about my heart issues and medication. We agreed to schedule surgery for the following week. I booked the flights and 5 days later they picked me up from Izmir airport. I was taken to a decent hotel for the first night and then they took me to the hospital the next morning. Sezen met me there and took me to see all the different doctors for every test you can imagine. Heart, lungs, x-ray, ultrasound, mental health: everything was checked. I felt well cared for and the level of professionalism was excellent. I met Dr Metin Karadeniz before the operation and we had a chat. I felt completely at ease. I went down early afternoon and woke up back in my private hospital room. I was walking a few hours later with very minimal pain. The staff came and checked on me regularly and gave me IV fluids. I spent the next three days in hospital, walking and following their post operative regime. When Dr Metin discharged me I went back to the hotel for a few days, enjoying walking around Ismir. I went for a checkup at his clinic with him and the nutritionist before returning home to England. It has now been 10 weeks since surgery and I have lost 30.39kg! I feel so much healthier, I no longer have sleep apnea, my cholesterol has come down from 6.7 to 3.5, my HbA1c is down to 33. My BMI was 46.94 and is now 35.8. I was a 48” waist and I’m now a 40”. This has been the best gift I have ever given myself. It has saved my life. If you are big/unhappy/struggling……. Don’t hesitate. The gastric sleeve weight loss surgery is very life changing and a success. I can’t recommend this place enough! From the moment I stepped off the plane I was looked after and made to feel so welcome and safe. The surgeons were absolutely amazing, the nurses were attentive and so caring, I don’t have a bad word to say. If your like me and looking for a safe place outside the u.k to have surgery and change your life this the place to go. I will definitely be going back if I need any body contouring after I lose all this weight!
